As state lawmakers head into the final two weeks of the legislative session, a number of big issues remain unresolved.
The biggest is coming up with a state budget to fund government for fiscal year 2017.
The state expects to have $1.3 billion less to spend due to depressed energy prices, tax cuts and an inability to reign in tax credits and incentives promoted to increase economic activity.
The state is currently in a deepening revenue failure, requiring cuts to state-appropriated agencies.
